Bon Air Baptist is a busy place on Sundays, at both the James River Campus and the Buford Road Campus.
At the Buford Road campus our traditional services are in the Sanctuary at 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., and the contemporary service (The Gathering) is at 9:30 a.m. in the Commons. Bible study classes/small groups meet at 9:30 a.m. and at 11:00 a.m.
At the James River campus the worship service is at 11:00 in the auditorium, with Children’s activities and Bible Study through middle school held also at 11:00.
If you are coming to the Buford Road Campus:
When you arrive you will notice the main entrance (under the portico) is in the back of the building off of the parking lot. Greeters there will help you find your way, whether you are looking for the worship services or for Bible study. If you have children, these warm greeters will help you get them settled in the inviting children’s areas under the care of loving teachers.
Our parking lots can get crowded on Sunday morning, so please come a few minutes before the service/Bible study you plan to attend. There are places to park on the street and around the church if you can't find a space in the lot.
If you are coming to the James River Campus:
You may park in the main parking lot, and you will enter through the doors just off that parking lot. You probably will see greeters outside those doors. In the Commons area you will find an information desk, refreshments, and people eager to make you feel at home. They will help you find the outstanding children’s areas and the auditorium where worship is held.
If you are coming to NorthStar Community
On Saturday nights you will park in the church parking lot at 2531 Buford Road and enter at the NorthStar Community sign into our Commons. On Sunday mornings you will park in the lot at Bon Air Elementary School at 8709 Polk Street by the baseball field. Many families bring their children for Bible study and learning activities at Bon Air Baptist's Buford Road Campus at 2531 Buford Road and then drive the three blocks to Bon Air Elementary School.
What do I wear?
At the Buford Road Campus you will find people dressed in business suits and in casual attire. At the James River Campus and NorthStar Community services most will be dressed casually. Come dressed how you will feel is best for you.
