Bon Air Baptist encourages members to use online tithing to support the ministries of the church. Online tithing is fast, safe, and secure. The church receives your gift the next day and puts your contributions to use very quickly. Thank you for your tithes and offerings.

Donate Investment Securities
Giving Stock is an excellent way to give your tithes and offerings. When you give appreciated stock, the donor does not pay capital gains taxes and the church absorbs the fees and commissions related to the sale. The donor receives a tax-deductible charitable donation for the average of the high and low of the stock on the date of transfer.

If you are giving stock held in an account at your broker’s office, you can transfer the stock electronically to the church’s account. If you have the actual stock certificate, you will need to sign the back of the certificate and attach a letter of donation (see Forms page link for sample letter).

You can sign up through the church’s Finance Office to have your tithes and offerings drafted by Bon Air Baptist Church once a month. Click here for the form which you will need to complete and return to the Finance Office to take advantage of this method of support your church and God’s ministries.

Endowment Fund

The Endowment Fund of Bon Air Baptist Church is a collection of funds whose purpose is to support the ministries of the church. These funds are not crutches, if you will, but stepstools to help the church do more and reach more people. The funds are:

Missions
Music
Children's Music
Pastoral Care

About 3% to 5% of the funds are used each year in current ministries with the balance reinvested for long-term growth and for use in future ministry opportunities. A church appointed Endowment Team overseas the investments and their distribution.

You can make an eternal investment in the ministries of Bon Air Baptist Church by making a gift now to the Endowment Fund and/or by including the Endowment Fund in your will after you have taken care of your family and friends. You can help ensure that the ministries that have enriched your life continue well beyond your lifetime.
