CARITAS
Congregations Around Richmond Involved To Assure Shelter“

CARITAS is a community-based organization enabling member congregations to provide shelter and hospitality to homeless people in the Richmond Area.  Do you have an interest in reaching out to those who need a place to "lay their head"?  CARITAS  Volunteers are alaways needed to assist in organizing the teams for Bon Air Baptist's week in hosting our guests from CARITAS. BABC housed 40 adult guests April 1 - 8, 2006, and it is not to early to begin thinking about next year. For more information please email Leonard Littlejohn.

Freedom House

Freedom House provides transitional housing and case management services to the homeless for a period not to exceed two years.  BABC provides the dinner meal each third Monday of the month at the site on Hull Street in Richmond.  For more information or to volunteer, call the church at 272-1475 and leave a message for program coordinator, Jane Perrow.
